Why we built this differently

Twin Bridges was founded by Karly Foster out of a desire to create a clinical environment that aligned perfectly with her values and beliefs on how to treat the human body. In the early stages of her career, she found herself struggling with the traditional model of Physiotherapy — treating multiple patients at once in condensed treatment sessions. This didn't make sense. Patients were either not responding well to treatment or were taking longer than necessary to see improvements in their condition.

The goal was to create a setting where each practitioner could spend an appropriate amount of time with each patient in a focused, one-on-one session — better addressing their issues through education, hands-on treatment, and movement re-training, allowing the patient to feel heard, valued, and not rushed.

The goal in starting Twin Bridges was to eventually bring together like-minded practitioners from different disciplines to work together and support each other to help patients see the best results. Twin Bridges Physiotherapy and Wellness ultimately aims to put the patient first and treat the individual as a whole, addressing all possible facets that can influence someone's health and well-being.
